ipchainslogs2mysql

Description

This is a Perl script I wrote to

parse a standard syslog file to extract the ipchains log entries from it
parse those log entries into their separate field and send the entries to a MySQL database

The script is currently intended to be run asynchronous, i.e. you feed it a (archived) syslog file, the script processes it and exits. The option to get the data from the syslog daemon in realtime is a planned to be added. Included is the SQL-Script to create the MySQL database table ipchainslogs2mysql expects for writing into.
